16 and 24 Tip Horn
Process multiple samples simultaneously with the 16 and 24 Tip Horns. These horns are effective for cell disruption, mixing, dissolution and many other applications.
Each horn weighs several pounds, so a special stand with lab jack #4130 is available to properly support the horn, and the lab jack enables accurate sample height adjustment.
When processing small volumes with high intensity, samples will heat up quickly. In addition to using the pulse mode, a Coolrack tube cooling module is highly recommended. The #514 Coolrack is compatible with #4579. The horns and stand will fit inside the Sound Enclosure #432B2 to reduce the noise generated by sonication.
