Sound Enclosure
The Q2000 can produce sound in excess of 100dB, so hearing protection is required. A sound enclosure protects both the user and anyone nearby by reducing the noise to safe levels. This eliminates the need for everyone in the room to use earplugs or headphones.
Two models of enclosures are available. Part #4474 is made for use with a Q2000 system and probe. Part #4475 is for the use with a Flocell. Both models have ports on either side for coolant tubing or temperature monitoring probes. The interior walls are lined with water resistant acoustical foam. Stands are not included with the enclosure and are sold separately.
